Questions people ask before they install

Most people only need to know what Aether replaces, what it needs, and how to get started.

Do I need to turn everything on at once?

No. Start with voice input, then add voice control, and only turn on head control after the simpler workflow feels stable.

Why does Aether ask for permissions?

Because it needs access to the microphone, speech recognition, and accessibility features to help you type and control parts of the system.

Can I switch between the normal version and beta?

Yes. Most people should stay on the normal version. Beta is there if you want earlier changes and can tolerate rough edges.

Where do I manage activation and updates?

Use the About page inside the app. That is where activation, device status, and update controls live.

Is there a refund window?

Yes. Aether is sold with a 7-day trial and a 7-day refund window. If a paid plan does not fit, contact support within the first 7 days.

Where should I look if the installation feels wrong?

Check that Aether is installed in /Applications, then reopen the app and review the readiness section on the Overview page.
